Go Do Make!

Summer is definitely in full swing here in Tennessee! It’s been crazy hot and humid lately! Once it’s over 90 degrees I want to be near a pool and that is all! We got a bit of a break today with some pop up rain showers, which has helped cool it off considerably.

Feeling the heat did give me a bit of inspiration, though! I realized that there are some great color combinations that you can get from “summery” things! I wanted to share with you a few of the photos that have inspired me to create a few summertime color palettes.

Below each photo I have linked the closest yarn color I could find to match these photos. I hope they inspire you to create something wonderful!

These sea shells truly show all the amazing colors you can find near the ocean! I think this color pattern would be fun for a summery project!

Hopefully one of these color combinations will inspire you to start a new crochet project! You could try this with some of your personal photos, as well! Look at your photos and try to pick out the 4 or 5 colors that “pop” the most. See if you can find some new combos of your own!
