Go Do Make!

Welcome back to the Hip to be Square Crochet Along! We are now on Week 5! I can’t believe we are 2/3 of the way done making these squares! I hope you have enjoyed working on this project! If you are just finding this CAL, the previous weeks can be found here:

WEEK 4

I’m so happy to share another granny square pattern with you! This week we are back to working on more intricate squares, so we will be making 4 squares. When I decided to start this I looked for inspiration all around me. I named this blog Couch Surfer Crochet because I am always watching TV or movies while I crochet. It’s a great way to relax! This week’s square was inspired by my love of the TV show LOST! One of the recurring images in the show is the Dharma Initiative logo. It looks like this:

I thought I could take that basic shape and turn it into a pretty cool square! I was really happy with the results. I’ve decided to call this week’s square the Dharma Square! Remember to make 4 of these!

As a reminder, I am using a I/9 (5.5mm) hook. The colors I chose are:

Color A : Impeccable Lavender
Color B : Red Heart SS in Light Sage
Color C : Red Heart SS in Royal
Color D : Impeccable Yarn in Teal
Color E : Red Heart SS in White
Color F : Red Heart SS in Soft Navy
