Go Do Make!

OMG…You guys!!! We are now on the last week of squares! We are going back to basics again this week. We will be making 8 squares of the basic granny square pattern just like we did in Week 4, but we are going to be using a different color for the main block to create the pattern at the end when we join. Here’s how the squares look before the join so you can see in the pattern why we are doing two weeks of the same type of square!

I have really loved working on this project with all of you! You have shared your squares in the Couch Surfer Crocheters Facebook group, and I am loving all of your color combinations! I can’t wait to see the finished blankets once everything is joined together and finished off with a border!

I found these simple squares to be very relaxing to work on. My hubby and I have been re-watching Season One of Westworld. If you haven’t seen it, I highly recommend it! It’s sci-fi meets western meets romance meets action. I know that sounds like a mess, but trust me, it’s awesome! And watching it the second time through I am catching so many things I missed the first time! These squares were easy to work on while I watched so I didn’t have to miss anything.
