Go Do Make!

Welcome to Couch Surfer Crochet!

The world might be a bit crazy right now, but I have found that being able to crochet (and do any kind of crafts, really) helps me feel productive. Most of the shops are closed, and I’m home a lot more than I am used to, so I’m crocheting quite a lot!

I’m trying to save money right now, so I’m taking this time to use up the yarn I have in my stash! This scarf is super simple and works up fast. The yarn is really the star of this pattern! I used Premier Yarns Flowers and a 6.00mm hook.

V-Stitch Scarf Pattern

V-stitch: dc, ch 1, dc

R1: Ch 28

R2: V-stitch (dc, ch 1, dc) in the fifth ch from hook, *sk next chains, V-st in next ch, repeat from * across to the last 2 ch, dc in last ch

R3: Ch 3, turn (counts as turning chain and first dc), V-st in each ch 1 sp across, dc in top of beginning ch.

R4-?: Repeat Row 2 until the scarf is the desired length

** once scarf is desired length you can whip stitch the two ends together to make an infinity scarf (as shown), or you can leave it as is. You could also add fringe if you don’t want to make it all one piece! **

I only had two skeins of this yarn so I crocheted as many rows as I could and then sewed the two ends together. You can make your scarf as short or as long as you’d like!
