Hey crocheters! I hope you have enjoyed working on this Crochet Along! These squares have been so much fun to create, and I LOVE seeing all of your color choices! We are in the home stretch! This week we will be joining all of those squares together, and next week we will be adding a border to finish! We are now done with the most difficult part of this Crochet Along : making all those squares! If you are just joining us, all the of the square patterns can be found here:

Stash Buster Granny CAL – Week 4
Welcome to Couch Surfer Crochet! We are now on Week 4 of the Stash Buster Granny Square Crochet Along!
If you are just now joining us, check out the INTRO POST.
This blanket pattern is designed to be a stash buster! Each week we will be creating a “SET” number of squares, but it is totally creatively open! Colors are all up to YOU! Each week the pattern is the basic granny square, the unique look comes from when we do color changes on each square.
If you’ve never heard the term “stash buster” before, it’s when you have LOTS and LOTS of bits of yarn with no idea what to do with them! I designed this pattern with the intention that it would be very colorful and very random. I didn’t want any two squares to look alike. Of course, if you want to make each week of squares exactly the same, that’s totally up to you! I think that would be a stunning finished piece if that’s what you choose to do!

You can join in on this Crochet Along at any time! Just make to sure to visit the previous weeks to make those squares for the finished blanket!

Stash Buster Granny CAL Intro
Hello and welcome to Couch Surfer Crochet!
I’m ready to introduce my newest Crochet Along: The Stash Buster Granny CAL!
I’ve been working like crazy to get this project finished so I can share with all of you! I ran a poll in the Couch Surfer Crocheters FB Group to see if people preferred a shorter (and smaller) project that lasts 4 weeks, or a full size blanket that will last 6 weeks. The majority picked the 6 week full blanket option. I’ve now got the plan in place and am ready to introduce this new Crochet Along to the world!

October 29: Week 4 – 16 squares
November 5: Week 5 – JOINING

***since I used yarn from my stash I don’t have an exact amount needed, but I know you will need at least 400 yards of one solid color to do the joining and border!

Free Crochet Patterns for Baby
Hello all! I hope you’ve had a wonderful summer!
I’ve been absent from the blog a lot longer than I wanted to be, but for good reason! I’ve been working lots of overtime at my day job to help pay for some home improvements, and I’ve gotten a lot of crochet orders from my friends lately. It seems like everyone I know is expecting a baby at the same time, so my hands have been very busy making precious tiny things!
Changing Chevrons CAL – Week 8
Congratulations! We have made it to the final section of the Changing Chevrons Crochet Along! Many of you have shared your progress in the Couch Surfer Crocheters Facebook group. It it always so fascinating to see one pattern recreated in so many different colors! After seeing all of your work I have found some new color combinations I want to try out!
I’ve had a few people express interest in making their blanket longer after this week. I will share a few ideas on how to do that at the end of this post.

Beautiful Boxes Scarf Crochet Pattern
Hello! I hope you are all having an amazing January so far! It’s unseasonably warm (at least today!) here in Tennessee, so I thought it would be the perfect time to break out one of my lighter weight scarves. Last year I shared a yarn review for Caron Cakes yarn. I was so excited to try out self-striping yarn! Well…did you know that Red Heart now has their own line of self-striping yarns, appropriately called Red Heart Stripes?! They have some of the most amazing colors, and I couldn’t wait to try out a few of them!
